Right To Be, in partnership with the NYC Commission on Gender Equity and the Mayor’s Office of Equity and Racial Justice, is hosting a virtual bystander intervention training that introduces participants to Right To Be’s 5Ds methodology, a proven framework for safely responding to anti-Black racist harassment in the workplace. Through reflection, learning, and hands-on practice, participants will identify what anti-Black harassment looks like, build confidence to intervene without escalating harm, and apply the 5Ds—Distract, Delegate, Document, Delay, and Direct—to support colleagues and foster safer, more inclusive work environments.
