This program is a care program that provides comprehensive healthcare with therapeutic, social, educational and recreational activities to enhance the lives of the elderly, chronically ill, and disabled adults while maintaining their residence in the community. Volunteers should expect to facilitate or assist with social/recreational activities or educational enrichment activities for program participants.

This opportunity is available any day, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. You would choose at least one of those days to volunteer each week for a minimum of one hour. You must be committed to volunteering at least once per week over the course of the semester at the Adult Day Center with the intention of developing relationships with the program participants. Volunteers must be dependable, have good moral character and agree to be positive role models. All volunteers will go through a brief training and orientation program and may be invited to reflection conversations over the course of the semester.
