About Us
Student Engagement and Leadership are two distinct campus departments that partner together to offer ways for students to get involved in fun activities and student leadership and learning experiences at SUNY Plattsburgh. We offer student leadership opportunities including student government, Fraternity & Sorority Life, clubs/organizations, and leadership development training. We also offer ways for students to get engaged in the campus and community including student activities and novelties, wellness programs, and volunteer opportunities through Project HELP and the Empire State Service Corps
Student Activities and Volunteerism also encourages students to check out the Student Association Activities Coordination Board, comprised of seven subcommittees, each with their own focus.
Not JUST fun and games, we also support agencies on and off campus with volunteers to serve our community. Project HELP and Alternative Breaks all offer opportunities for students to volunteer and make a difference in the world around them.
