To bond as a family providing support and sisterhood.
To educate all people about the fallacy of the negative stereotypes that surround Latinos, and those of African, Asian, and Indigenous descent.
To motivate everyone who we interact with to achieve academic and professional goals, specifically the children in our communities.
To promote the advancement of women in our communities.
To emphasize the importance of learning as well as proceeding on to higher education for ourselves and anyone willing to make a difference.
To expose the children of our community to the extremely broad horizon within their reach.
Empower ourselves as women through learning about each of our varied cultures, and to help the underprivileged members of the American society.

Spring 2018
Since becoming a member of the phenomenal phi chapter, I have grown immensely as a woman, specifically a Black woman. My chapter has helped to instill confidence in myself, and taught me to take pride in who I am and what I can bring, not only to the continued success of my chapters growth but in my everyday life. My chapter has also allowed me to build valuable, lifelong relationships with women who are similar to me yet so different. These are women I know that I can speak to beyond LPiU related things, whom continue to empower me and push me as a person.

Being in phi feels like home. It's a chosen family that welcomes you with open arms & we take pride in that, our sisterhood & our hardwork for the greater global community.
Spring 2021
Phi has changed my life by helping me build confidence, professional skills, and a sense of belonging. Phi supported me from the start, encouraging my growth even before I joined and continuing as I move through this organization. These women exemplify strength, unity, and sisterhood. I could not have asked for a better chapter to be a part of.

Empowerment Conference
Empowerment Conference aims to provide tailored resources, workshops, and updates to meet the needs of our Regions and Hermanas. The structure targets business, development, and sisterhood within a weekend. This conference is designed to realign entities for a productive conclusion to the fiscal year.
Diva Month
March is Women’s History Month and we dedicate this month to commemorate and educate our audiences through events that highlight our empowering organization. Diva Month is inspired by the Sorority’s Metas and philanthropy, and reflective of our mission to educate and empower.
Fight For Air Climb
We are a proud participant of the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb for it’s in support of the Sorority’s philanthropic initiative, Asthma Awareness. Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Inc. proudly sponsors the event and fundraises annually for the effort.
Lambda Diva Leadership Summit
The Lambda Diva Leadership Summit, or LDLS, is an annual convention for our members at the start of the Fall semester. LDLS is a weekend-long event where the National Leadership and the Assembly come together to conduct Sorority business.
