About Us
The Student Association’s mission shall be the following seven (7) principles:
1. To promote the educational and general welfare of the Student Body at SUNY Plattsburgh.
2. To anticipate and stimulate the interests of the Student Body at SUNY Plattsburgh.
3. To broaden the educational perspectives of the Student Body at SUNY Plattsburgh.
4. To act as a unifying factor of the student voice at SUNY Plattsburgh.
5. To formulate, with the faculty and administration of SUNY Plattsburgh, the policies and procedures concerning life at the college.
6. To provide services and activities to the students of SUNY Plattsburgh that meet their general needs and interests.
7. To equally serve and represent all students of SUNY Plattsburgh regardless of age, race, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, familial status, pregnancy, pre-disposing genetic characteristics, military status, domestic violence victim status, disability, or criminal conviction; and to promote the full realization of equal education and employment opportunity through a positive and continuing program of affirmative action.
